The1 Wintersvile Volumteer Fire Department Junior Firemen,
supervised by Captain Jerry Boyd, are loading up Christmas gifts
and food for the needy in the Cross Creek area. Kind contributions
from area citizens helped to make this possible. The Cross Creek
Welfare Fund was also kept busy passing out baskets. Mrs. Frank
Cunningham said that better than 50 baskets were distributed
during the Christmas holiday. Mrs. Cunningham wishes to thank
all who made this a happy Christmas for area residents who were
in need. Many thanks to all who helped package and deliver these
baskets.
