Merchants Receive Flags From Committee
The Citizen's Advisory Board met with various Wintersville merchants on Monday, July 1st, to present
each of them an American Flag. Rev. Milan J. Babel, chairman of the Board, stated that the flags were
given with the thought in mind that the business men could display these flags, thus exemplifying their
patriotism as well as representing the people living in the village of Wintersville.
SThe Citizen's Advisory Board is presenting these flags also to those merchants who are beautifying
their establishments along Main Street. By beautifyinghis establishment, the business man will show that
he is proud of the village he lives in, as well as contributing to its betterment.
The flags were donated by Carlings Brewing Co., through the courtesy of Jack Linch, manager of
Hi-O River Distributors of Steubenville. Pictured above with Mayor Anthony Petrozzi are some of the
merchants who received the flags and members of the Advisory Board. (1st row, 1 to r) Mayor Petrozzi,
