Pupils in the Indian Creek
School District, grades 1-12, will
have a half-day session on Tues-
day, September 3. The schedule
for that day is: Harmony and Hills
E lementaries, 12:00-3:00; Mingo
High and Central Junior High,
12:00 - 3:20; Wintersville High
and Buchanan Junior High, 12:00-
3:30; Bantam Ridge, Stark, and
W intersville Elementaries,
12:45-3:00; and Wayne Elemen-
tary, 12:45-3:45.
School bus transportation will
be provided on September 3.
Pupils eligible to ride are to be
ready to board buses approxi-
mately one hour before starting
time.
SRegular full-day sessions begin
September 4. Bus schedules are
posted at the main entrance of
each building. Lunches will be
served in the school cafeterias
beginning September 4.
The regular day schedules of
each building, beginning Septem-
ber 4 are: Central Junior High
and Mingo High, 8:20 - 3:20;
Wintersville High, 8:23 - 3:30;
Buchanan Junior High, 8:22 -
3:28; Bantam Ridge, Stark, and
Wintersville Elementaries, 9:00-
300; Harmony and Hills Ele-
mentaries, 8:30 - 3:00; and Wayne
Elementary, 9:15 - 3:45. Times
are approximate and may vary
slightly from this schedule in the
elementary buildings.

garten appears in another article.
Children attending parochial
schools and transported by Indian
Creek buses will have approxi-
mately the same schedule and
routes as last year.
Kindergarten classes in Indian
Creek School District will not
follow the same opening-day
schedule as grades 1 - 12.
Regular class sessions will not
be held for kindergarten children
until the day after registration,
according to the following
schedule.

Hills Elementary - a.m. and
p.m. classes will register 12:30
-3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 3.
Harmony Elementary-a.m. and
p.m. classes will register 8:30-
11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 4.
Stark Elementary - a.m. and

Warriors Win Trophy At Frontier Parade

The 1968 Warrior Varsity M'Urching Band, under the direction of Domtniick DeLuca won a trophy in the
Botty Zan� Frontier Day Parade in Martins Ferry, Friday, August 23. This is the first time the band
has won a trophy in this type of competition. The band did a street routine to "The Swing March" by
Mancini when competing with the 10 other bands.
The next performance of the Warrior Band will be the Commmunity Day Parade in Mingo Junction on
Saturday, August 31, at 7:00 P.M. The Wintersville band will again be competing with other bands for
a trophy.
